  1. The nice lady at wild fibers, Linda Cortwright, was at Stitches West in Santa Clara California (Feb 22-24) and said how much she appreciated your comment in your podcast. She apparently is not able to hear your enchanting podcasts. I subscribed to her magazine because it is like taking a long adventure without the nuisance of packing and stopping the mail delivery, etc. required by a real trip.

Stitches West was great fun and it was so nice to meet the Ravelry group and participate in their passport. The WEBS store had a very long line at the cash register the whole time I was there. It was a pleasure to discover another yarn shop close to the freeway on the journey to my brother’s in southern California. So many treats! The drive is one hour and 20 minutes from Monterey, my home. susan93940m at gmail dot com and susan93940 on Ravelry.

  2. Another great show as usual! I can’t believe how quickly you knit up the Baby Surprise Jacket. When do we get to see a picture of you modeling the Cobblestone? I’m sure it looks great on.

  3. Thank you again, Dave for the links and publicity!

As usual, fun and informative podcast. You really do deliver every week. Amazing.

I wanted to share my (limited) knowledge of Elite with you. I believe that it is a stretchy fiber like elastic but trademarked so that it has to be capitalized and used with a register/trademark symbol (like Tencel or Dacron). Elite gives bounce to fibers like cotton. BMFA Cotton Candy is similar to Cascade Fixation or Elann Esprit.

    Hope that helps! Take care.
