I have been listening to your podcast for over a year and really enjoy it, but I’m prompted to write now with Sally’s and your descriptions from the knitting competition. It’s been a hoot. Thanks to you both.
I live in Scottsbluff, Nebraska about 30 miles from the Brown Sheep Wool Mill and taught knitting there during the 80s.
Keep up the interesting podcasts. No need to reply.

I’ll be very interested in hearing what you think of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I nearly purchased that book during my last trip to the bookstore.
I’m a little behind in my listening so I just listened to this episode and thought I’d share a couple prominent crochet sites: CrochetMe.com and Learntocrochet.com. I learned to crochet when I was a very young girl and taught myself to knit a couple decades later. I find crochet easier and faster because of done it longer and it’s much harder to lose your place/stitches. However, I find the motion of knitting with two sticks (and string) a much more meditative practice.
Listen to ya later!

I hate typos — “because I’ve done it longer…”
